Why I built this quiet corner of the internet
For 25 years, I held a top spot in direct distribution. That business gave my family true freedom. It allowed us to live in New Zealand, Australia, and Switzerland, put my daughters through great schools, and eventually settle on our homestead to build an organic farm.
We were debt-free and I thought the ship was unsinkable.
Then, almost overnight, corporate buyouts and backroom mergers took over. What took a quarter of a century to build had the rug pulled out from under it. Income was slashed by 90% across the board, and thousands of hard-working people were left holding an empty bag.
